Well, I can finally say I have lived in China for half a year. Only 6 more months to go and I am home. It has been an experience; an amazing, confusing, overwhelming, frustrating, but life changing experience.
The people here are absolutely wonderful. They are so kind, so helpful and just love us here; and we love them right back. I have made great friends during this adventure! Don't even let me get started on the children! I am going to cry when I have to say goodbye to everyone. Luckily, I have a long time before thinking about that.
We have many things to look forward to in the next 6 months. We just enjoyed a short trip to South Korea which I will do a separate post on. In February, we are planning to head to the Philippines and snorkel with whale sharks. In May, we plan to take a trip to Thailand and have Ally's mom come to China for a week. So tons to look forward that will make the time go by fast.
