Winter Bazaar
I can't even remember the day we went because everything mashes together these days but one day we ventured to a winter bazaar fair that was held at another international school. The website didn't give much directions on how to get there so we went to nearest subway station that we knew of. We still couldn't find it. We ended up meeting a women who was also looking for the fair and she went with us, We got a cab and she spoke Chinese to the taxi driver. Here is the thing with taxis here. You could show them exactly where to go and give them the address in chinese and they still don't know how to get there. She spoke perfect Chinese and was telling the streets and everything but it was still a ten minute process to figure out where we were going. We, luckily, got there and it was crowded. The school was beautiful. So many foreigners were around. We were excited to be able to be around people who could understand us. We walked around got some baked goods and some lunch. The main reason I wanted to go was for the book fair. Ally and I bought some books. I picked up a Christmas themed book to read for the holidays. We walked around and looked at all the vendors and then left. It was a good time and you all know I love my books.
