Thanksgiving

So I fell behind again and have tons of blog posts to catch up on. I will start with our Thanksgiving holiday. We ended up going on a field trip to the fire station on Thanksgiving even though we were told that wouldn't happen. But we are told a lot of things that are changed and not true. The field trip was a two part all day trip. The first part I was with Jeffery and chaperoning him. He had a good time and so did I. The second part of the day I was with my younger class. At the fire station, we go to go up in the fire engine and up the ladder. We played a race game that you had to put the fire equipment on. The parents and teachers raced. I won for my younger class and got a pack of pastels. I gave them to little Ray.

For our own celebration of Thanksgiving, we made reservations of Tim's BBQ which serves American style food. It was a nice time. Nothing special but a good get away from all the Chinese culture. We ate stuffing, corn, ham, turkey, mashed potatoes, and of course pumpkin pie!
