Borneo, Malaysia Day 2: Kinabalu National Park and Hot Springs

Day two we headed to the Kinabalu National Park for hiking and site seeing. On the way there we stopped at the Jambatan Tamparuli Bridge and walked across by foot. On the other side we were in Tamparuli Town, Nebula where there were shops and an overview of the mountains.

After some more driving we got to Kinabalu National Park and took a trail. The trail was a nice trail but we didn't see much wild life. After the hike we headed to the exhibition hall and watch a very boring video that literally put me to sleep.

Once we finished lunch, we rode to the hot springs area. We were rushing because it looked like it could rain and the guide wanted us to get there in time to do the canopy walk. The walk was nice but again we didn't see anything. After the canopy walk we went into the Poring Hot Springs. They were just tubs of mountain water. They were hot but we didn’t stay in long. It wasn’t like you were in a real nature hot spring. Finally, we ended the day by heading to the Kinabalu Pine resort. It was a little cottage on the side of the mountain and we had an amazing view when we woke up the next morning.
