Sunday, the school was open and children came into school to go a field trip.
The school was open on a Sunday because of the upcoming National Day Holiday.
For the field trip, we went to a farm picked radishes, lettuce, and sweet
potatoes. We were also told that we would get to pick turnips which I was super
excited to do because I love turnips and it reminds me of gardening with my Poppop.
Unfortunately, the turnips were not ready yet. I had a great time and the
children did too. We picked many veggies and can’t wait to cook them up and eat
them!
